Applications now accepted for TSTA’s National Board Cohort
TSTA is excited to offer members an intensive, comprehensive program of support to folks who are pursuing National Board certification. The application for the 2025-26 TSTA National Board Cohort is now live. Save this link. The application will remain open until Monday, May 5.
The program consists of a week-long, in-person workshop, two in-person writing workshops, a National Board conference, a series of monthly virtual courses, one-on-one mentoring and the opportunity to collaborate with other candidates going through the National Board process. Participants will study topics such as the five core propositions for accomplished teaching, the different types of writing required for National Board submissions, how to successfully create teaching videos and how to analyze student work. Candidates will be supported with components 1 and 2 during the 2025-26 school year and components 3 and 4 during the 2026-27 school year.
This opportunity is only open to a few TSTA members, and admission is competitive. Participation will be free, including travel and lodging expenses. Admitted candidates will be required to participate and attend all meetings to continue with the program.
